Oh my goodness, what can I even say about Kelly & Alex? I spent an evening shortly before the wedding wandering around Adams Morgan for their engagement session, and that made me all the more excited for this day. These two are the BEST. Kelly didn’t hesitate to hop on the phone with me in the week before the wedding, so by the time I walked into the getting ready room, we were totally already friends.
The love these two have for each other was evident in every glance, smile, and moment the whole day. The ceremony was beautiful, perfectly fitting for the gorgeous place that is St. Matthews Cathedral! They said their vows in front of family & friends, and then didn’t even bat an eye at the 60mph winds swirling around us during portraits, or the traffic we dodged to take photos in the bike lane on Pennsylvania Ave. We wandered the city for portraits before heading back to the Westin Washington for one heck of a party with an amazing band.
